Task Forces

Emergency Preparedness and Influenza
The mission of the HDMA Emergency Preparedness and Influenza Task Force (EPITF) is to promote the role of healthcare distribution in emergency preparedness and influenza planning and response activities. 
The task force is charged with promoting public health and patient safety by:

  • Identifying legislative and regulatory preparedness issues affecting distributor members;
  • Discussing best practices and formulating guidance accordingly,
  • Coordinating with government/public health entities,
  • Developing strategies to ensure the continuity of the supply chain, and
  • Disseminating relevant information.

Membership is open to all HDMA healthcare distributor members.
