HDMA PRESIDENT AND CEO JOHN M. GRAY RECOGNIZED AS A
TOP ASSOCIATION EXECUTIVE

ARLINGTON, Va., September 13, 2011 – HDMA President and CEO John M. Gray was named a top association CEO by CEO Update, the leading publication covering the association sector. Mr. Gray was one of 13 CEOs selected by the publication, who “epitomize the best in their field” and were chosen from nominations from their peers.

According to the publication, Gray was noted as “a dynamic and engaging leader who inspires and motivates his staff.” The annual CEO Update feature on top executives includes a story on the current trends and challenges of association leadership, with insights from Mr. Gray on the many roles association CEOs must play as leaders for their organizations.

Mr. Gray is the only CEO representing a healthcare organization in 2011. He previously was recognized by CEO Update in its 2009 list of top association CEOs.
